Everyday we are seeing more and more DIY creations people are doing with their clothes. George Serventi, a fashion writer in London, has created a hashtag, #HomeCouture, where people can create their own couture looks right from their homes. “The idea is that quarantine queens across the world can doll themselves up, Cinderella-style, with scouring-pad ball gowns, toilet-roll palazzo pants, and saucepan fascinators,” Serventi and his friends have been re-creating runway looks using different items they have found in their homes. This has given him the opportunity to look at fashion through a more fun perspective. He wants to bring more positivity and comic relief to people during this time.
